Tucked behind a lush hedge in Delray Beach, this backyard was reimagined from the ground up into a private resort escape. The project began with a full demolition and reshaping of the outdated deck and pool steps, rebuilt with premium marble pavers set in a clean geometric grid and inlaid with artificial turf strips for a striking contrast between hardscape and green.
The centerpiece is a raised “half champagne” spa wrapped in a floor-to-ceiling wall of iridescent blue glass mosaic, spilling a sheet of water into the pool below. Along the covered patio, a vertical wood-slat accent wall with an integrated planter bed grounds the outdoor dining area, while a matching PVC wood-clad planter continues that same warm, textured line along the fence perimeter. The pool itself was reshaped with a new sundeck, fresh plaster, waterline tile, and coping. Twin custom copper fire bowls anchor the water feature on marble pedestals, fed by a dedicated underground gas line, and a full LED lighting package brings the whole space to life after dark.
